Capsule Collection: The Blonde Salad for Steve Madden

If you know anything about me you know that Steve Madden is one of favorite shoe designers! I was so interested to find out that fashion blogger/desinger, Chiara Ferragni, was releasing a new capsule collection with Steve Madden simply titled, "The Blonde Salad for Steve Madden". The name comes from Ferragni's fashion blog which has catapulted her to fashion stardom. Ferragni has worked with multiple designer's as well as her own name sake shoe brand. According to The Blonde Salad:

"Nine different models and seventeen pairs of shoes: the collection is composed by slip ons, flat booties but also ankle booties and sandals, to follow me (and hopefully you too) through the day, from morning to night. The inspiration for the different models come from New York, frenetic and with a vibe that no other city has. A city that makes you feel strong enough to do everything you want. A city which was the location for the campaign, shot last October, and which will be the perfect place for the party dedicated to this collaboration, next 4th February, to open the fashionweek season. The collection will be available in some selected Steve Madden stores and online (and internationally) on Stevemadden.com from February 5th.. Are you ready?"

Solange Knowles X Puma

Recently hired as Puma's creative director, Solange Knowles has debuted her first collection with the footwear brand called, "Girls of Blaze". Each shoe was designed by NYC artists and showcased perfectly in the campaign visuals. The shoot just screams of Knowles' personal style and I can see so many more exciting things from Solange and Puma. The shoot was directed and curated by Solange and shot by Alan Ferguson. The sneakers will be released over the weekend at Opening Ceremony. Check out the lookbook below.
